Mogren beach is divided into two parts, the passage between them is cut into the rock. You can get to it from the Old Town in Budva . To do this, you need to go to the main gate, opposite there will be a large building. Then turn right and follow the hotel. There is a road between the hotel and the rocks. Tourists who come to Budva to rest not for the first time know the advantages of Mogren – a beach with a calm atmosphere, at certain hours it is closed from direct sunlight by rocks. The length of the coastline for the first and second beaches is 400 m. On the first, the beach strip is much wider, about 80 m. On the second, it does not exceed 20-25 m. At high tide or with strong wind and waves, it decreases.
Mogren beach is suitable for families with children. Entry into the sea is gentle, a small difference in depths is only at the beginning. An adult tourist can move 10-15 m from the coastline so as not to reach the bottom. From the first zone you can see the fortress and the beach of Richard ‘s Head. They often appear in the photos of tourists, independent travelers.
The water in the sea is clean, unlike the Slovenian beach. Garbage does not accumulate here, the currents passing near the shore, there is a rapid renewal of water. However, during the day it can be very hot due to the lack of wind. Therefore, protective equipment is needed – hats, panamas. An alternative is to rent an umbrella. There is practically no garbage, the territory is cleaned by the municipality.
In the morning and evening, at high and low tide, there are large currents. Therefore, it is not recommended to sail far from the coast at this time. At high tide, most of the Mogren-2 beach is flooded with water.

The main thing is that there are no shops, cafes or stalls on the territory. They simply do not have enough space to accommodate. Therefore, I’m going. Food and drinks must be taken with you. Almost the entire territory of Mogren beach is lined with sun loungers and umbrellas. Rental price – from 4 Euro per day. This is supervised by local workers. Rubbish must be taken away with you. There are no places for containers on the coastal strip.
In the first zone there is a rental of inflatable boats, sometimes there are entertainments for children. In the second there is nothing of the kind, it is designed for a relaxing holiday. But there are fewer vacationers and tourists, I occupy places in the morning.

- Astoria . It is located in the historical center of Budva , next to the Richard’s Glava beach . The road to Mogren takes 7-8 minutes.
- Mogren . Located close to Mogren , the beach is literally 20 meters from the complex. The hotel is inexpensive, three stars. The advantage is the convenient location.
- This is a complex of apartments located next to the central beach of Budva . Convenient for independent travelers, free parking is provided.
- Apia Residence . They are located in the Old City, surrounded by the infrastructure of the smokers. Convenient for lazy travelers who don’t like to walk a lot. The disadvantage is the high cost of living.
The advantages of rest in Budva are the relatively small area of the resort. You can rent a villa or apartment in the post office area or the local market. The road to Mogren Beach will take 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace. The advantage is the proximity of shops, historical sights of Budva .
According to experience, they go to Mogren 4-5 times per vacation. In summer it is very hot here due to the lack of wind. Therefore, tourists choose Slavyansky Beach or other places for sunbathing and swimming in the vicinity of the resort.
